I think this should be proof that he was not living in 1727. However, there is a Philadelphia, Penn. Record of the marriage Nov. 12, 1728, of William Maultbey and Dorothy Stegleigh." (Possibly he was a descendant of the emigrant brother, Robert Maltby).
